Scratch John Calipari off the list of potential replacements as the next Pelicans' head coach.

The University of Kentucky coach announced on Twitter Tuesday that he isn’t interested in replacing Monty Williams, who was fired last week after five seasons.

Calipari was thought be a potential candidate since he coached Pelicans’ stars Anthony Davis and Tyreke Evans in college.

He coached Davis at the University of Kentucky and Evans at the University of Memphis.

“Even though Anthony and Tyreke are in NOLA, I have no interest in the Pelicans or any other job,” Calipari tweeted Tuesday. “I have a great job and I'm happy at UK.”
