Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson, who missed the second half of last season after a collision in a game at Boston that resulted in two herniated disks in his neck, posted on Instagram on Wednesday that he has been cleared for contact by his doctors for the upcoming season.

Here is the Instagram post from Anderson.

The post from Anderson also includes a picture of a MRI on a computer screen of his surgically repaired neck.

Anderson signed a four-year, $34 million contract with the Pelicans before the 2012-13 season in a sign-and-trade deal with Orlando.
