The Pelicans play at the Sacramento Kings at 9 p.m. Wednesday. in the Golden 1 Arena. Here are three things to know:

The Pelicans lost the season series to the Kings 2-1 last season and can avoid a similar fate Wednesday night. New Orleans won seven of the previous eight contests between the two Western Conference foes before last year's two losses.

The Kings may be well out of the playoff race and focusing on their young players instead of their seasoned veterans, but they're not tanking. In fact, Sacramento has won two of their past three games, thanks to Skal Labisserie's game-winning jumper Monday night to beat the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden.

The Kings took both games from the Pelicans in the Smoothie King Center this season, winning an overtime game Dec. 8 and again Jan. 30. They are two of the Kings' 10 wins away from Sacramento this season. New Orleans won in its only previous trip to the Golden 1 Center, earning a 114-106 win Oct. 26.
