Nate Robinson started in the season opener for the New Orleans Pelicans. Two days later, his time with the team is finished.

The Pelicans on Thursday waived the 11th-year veteran, a day after he played four minutes in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Robinson, who signed with the team on Oct. 15, did not score in two games for the Pelicans, starting the season opener at Golden State on Tuesday. He had four assists and a steal and missed his only field-goal attempt. The Pelicans were -20 in the 23 minutes he was on the floor.
