Former Hornets guard Marco Belinelli still remembers how to fill up the basket in New Orleans’ Smoothie King Center.

Belinelli, now with the San Antonio Spurs, poured in 24 points to win a tiebreaker championship round over Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards in the NBA All-Star Game 3-point shooting contest.

Beal finished the tiebreaker with 18 points.

Both men scored 19 points in the first championship round, with Beal draining a final two-point “money ball” just as the one-minute buzzer sounded to force the tiebreaker.

Damian Lillard of the Portland TrailBlazers, who is competing in five events during All-Star Weekend, lost 19-18 to Belinelli for the right to represent the Western Conference in the final.
