New Orleans couldn’t hold on to a 15-point fourth quarter lead, and suffered a heartbreaking 123-119 overtime loss to Golden State on Thursday night at Smoothie King Center.

The Pelicans now trail the series 3-0 with Game 4 set for Saturday at home at 7 p.m.

No team in NBA history has ever rallied from a 3-0 series deficit.

It was a clutch 3-pointer by MVP candidate Stephen Curry with two seconds left that forced overtime.

Curry finished with 40 points.

The Pelicans led 103-88 in the fourth quarter before getting outscored 20-5 to close out the quarter.

Anthony Davis finished with 29 points and 15 rebounds for the Pelicans.

The New Orleans Pelicans used a 19-0 first half run in the first half in a game they led by as many as 20 points, but it still wasn’t enough.
