MINNEAPOLIS — The New Orleans Pelicans will be without forward Ryan Anderson for Friday night’s game at Minnesota.
Anderson, who is averaging 14.7 points, is battling an ankle injury.
“He’s probably been feeling it for a while,” coach Monty Williams said. “Ryan plays through a lot of stuff. He’s a guy that really loves to play, and he’s got some soreness. I don’t think it’s anything serious. We recommended that he take a couple days off to get himself together. When a guy is fighting through soreness ... if we can give that guy a day to recover, it will help him going forward.”
Anderson had played in all 42 of the Pelicans’ games this season.
