1DOES THE MONTY AND DELL SHOW CONTINUE?

Hard to believe that the pair that has taken this franchise from the bottom of the barrel to the respectability making the playoffs in the Western Division merits are under the microscope. But are they — together or separately — capable of making the franchise a true title contender?

2DOES ANTHONY DAVIS SIGN THE CONTRACT EXTENSION?

It’s a no-brainer that the team is offering its star player a max contact and will be aggressive in doing what it take to sign him. The credibility of the franchise is at stake. But will Davis find it in his best interest to commit himself to the franchise long term? Or does he keep his options open?

3DOES ERIC GORDON OPT-IN?

With $15.5 million guaranteed from the team, EG’s choice vs. what he can get on the open market is another no-brainer. Criticized early on for nursing injuries, Gordon didn’t miss a game after choosing to rehab his shoulder vs. surgery. He’s matured into a consistent contributor.

4WHITHER OMER?

Giving up this year’s No. 1 pick for center Omer Asik seemed like a worthwhile risk, but he was an offensive embarrassment in the two home playoff games — one basket in six attempts. Ex-Pel Robin Lopez, an unrestricted free agent, probably can be signed for what it would take to keep Asik.

5HOLIDAY OR EVANS?

The season started with Jrue Holiday starting at point guard but his leg injury cost him half of the season and left questions about his durability. Evans certainly filled in well, but if Holiday cans stay healthy, Evans might function best as a positionless swing man.
