Pelicans re-signed free-agent guard Toney Douglas on Tuesday.

Douglas, a 6-foot-2 guard, appeared in three games for New Orleans, averaging 9.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 22.0 minutes per game while signed to two 10-day contracts with the team.

Douglas was originally drafted 29th overall out of Florida State in 2009 by the Los Angeles Lakers. He has appeared in 300 career NBA games with New York, Houston, Sacramento, Golden State, Miami and New Orleans, averaging 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
