New Orleans Saints right guard Jahri Evans’ streak of 114 consecutive regular-season starts ended against the Arizona Cardinals. After missing practice all week with a hamstring injury, undrafted rookie Tim Lelito started in his place.

Evans had not missed a start for the Saints since they drafted him in 2006. Prior to kickoff on Sunday, his streak of starts was tied with New York Jets tackle D’Brickashaw Ferguson’s for the third longest among active players, and it trailed New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning’s (137) and Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher’s (201).

Including the post-season, Evans started 122 games for New Orleans.
