The Saints are holding onto Travaris Cadet.

The running back has decided to return to New Orleans after visiting with the New York Jets last week, a source confirms.

Cadet has served primarily as New Orleans' pass-catching back during his tenure with the team. He set a career high last season with 40 receptions for 281 yards and four touchdowns. His best season came in 2014 when he totaled 296 yards.

The running back only ran four times for 19 yards last season.

Cadet also returned 10 kicks for the Saints last season for 144 yards.
