The Saints put Kansas State pass rusher Jordan Willis through a private workout on Sunday, according to league sources.

Willis finished last season with 11 1/2 sacks and 57 tackles. Pro Football Focus credited him with 80 quarterback pressures last season.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pounder was one of the more productive pass rushers last season in terms of Pro Football Focus' grading system, and would fit a need on the roster.

The Saints worked to address the defensive end spot opposite Cam Jordan by signing Alex Okafor, but he's battled injuries the last two years and saw his sack production drop. The team also has Hau'oli Kikaha, but he's no sure thing after suffering his third ACL injury last season.

New Orleans should be in the market for a pass rusher during the draft, and Willis appears to have the profile the team is looking for.
