The on-again, off-again relationship New Orleans has had with Joe Morgan is over for the time being.
Morgan is getting a shot elsewhere.
The veteran receiver, who has logged 14 snaps in four games on the active roster but been unable to stick on the 53, is signing with the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.
Baltimore has a dire wide receiver need after losing Steve Smith for the year with a torn Achilles on Sunday. Enter Morgan, who had been cut after camp, brought back a week later, then cut after three weeks, brought back for the game against Philadelphia and finally released again before the Saints played Indianapolis.
Morgan, who had 14 catches overall in his Saints career, did not have a reception this season. New Orleans still has one spot open on its 53-man roster.
