Ramon Humber’s two-year deal with the Saints carries a maximum value of $3.05 million, according to a source.
At it’s core, the deal is a two-year pact worth $2.085 million with a $334,000 signing bonus. But with a playtime escalator in 2016 worth up to $965,000, the maximum value could reach $3.05 million.
The deal has base salaries of $850,000 in 2015 and $901,000 in 2016.
The Saints re-signed the linebacker on Thursday.
Humber appeared in 15 games last season, logging 453 snaps on defense playing predominately at weakside and strongside linebacker. He also played a role on special teams.
