It appears the Saints are starting to develop some admiration for Phillip Dorsett.

The New Orleans brass went to dinner with the University of Miami wide receiver prior to Wednesday’s Pro Day and have set up a visit with the speedy wide receiver, according to draft insider Tony Pauline.

NFL Network’s Mike Mayock dubbed him the star of the day after he timed in 4.25 seconds in 40-yard dash. Dorsett (5-foot-10) caught 36 passes for 871 yards with 10 touchdowns last season.

Pauline reports that coach Sean Payton and assistant general manager Jeff Ireland were “gushing” over Dorsett while watching him going through drills and remarked that he would be a great fit for their offense.
