Drew Brees may shatter record after recordon the field, but that doesn’t mean his own kids are always impressed.

On “Conan” Monday night, Brees made the audience laugh with a story about his children after the Saints’ 24-6 loss to the Houston Texans in November, ESPN reported.

When he got home after the game – “I’m just waiting for that moment, just to embrace them,” Brees told Conan – his kids asked if they could all play football together. They then instructed Brees to “be Drew Brees, and we’ll be J.J. Watt.

And you stand there, and we’re gonna hit you.”

Brees also told Conan that his son, who attends Isidore Newman School, roots for Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr., even when they play against the Saints.

“The green and white runs deeper than the blood, obviously,” Brees said.
