New Orleans linebackers Hau’oli Kikaha and Dannell Ellerbe both participated in the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday.
Kikaha, who is battling an ankle injury, and Ellerbe, who has missed two games due to a hip, both would rejoin the starting lineup if healthy.
Several Saints did not participate in the portion of practice open to the media.
Cornerback Damian Swann (concussion) and linebacker David Hawthorne (undisclosed) also did not participate in the open period.
Wide receiver Marques Colston, left tackle Terron Armstead, right guard Jahri Evans and defensive tackle Kevin Williams, a practice that has become common for those four players. New Orleans has given those four Wednesdays off to help their bodies recuperate.
