Advocate staff photo by ELIOT KAMENITZ--Saints running back Khiry Robinson scores the winning touchdown in overtime with tight end Benjamin Watson on his back as Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end William Gholston trails the play as the Saints won 37-31 in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014.

Though the Saints held just a walkthrough Wednesday, three players did not participate: RB Khiry Robinson (forearm), LB Kyle Knox (forearm) and NT Brodrick Bunkley (quad).

Robinson has missed the past five games with his injury, and Knox has only been active in three contests for the Saints (4-7). Bunkley hurt himself in Monday night’s loss at home to Baltimore, and NFL Network reported Tuesday his season is most likely over.

Under Bunkely are John Jenkins and Brandon Deaderick. The Saints also have DT Lawrence Virgil on their practice squad, to which they signed free agent DT Garrison Smith. Smith’s arrival means a spot had to be opened up.

Limited were G Ben Grubbs (neck), LB Curtis Lofton (ankle), CB Keenan Lewis (knee) and C Jonathan Goodwin (toe). Full participants despite being listed on the injury report are RB Mark Ingram (shoulder), RB Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder), WR Robert Meachem (ankle) and RB Travaris Cadet (hamstring).

Meachem has missed the past three games with his injury. His absence has resulted in more snaps for WRs Joseph Morgan and Nick Toon.

The Saints visit Pittsburgh (7-4) on Sunday.

Saints coach Sean Payton said his team held a walkthrough to afford players more time to recover after playing two days earlier.
