WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. — The injury that landed Jack Tabb on injured reserve last week was a torn ACL, according to a source.

Tabb suffered the injury last Thursday while attempting to make a catch during practice. He fell to the turf and was carted off the field.

The 23-year-old tight end was signed as an undrafted rookie out of North Carolina. The Saints signed veteran tight end Alex Smith to take Tabb’s place.
