A few minutes with ... Ryan Griffin
Q: What’s your review of your training camp/preseason performance so far, and are you pleased?
A: “I’m never satisfied. No doubt there have been a lot of good things that have gone on this preseason but (I’m) definitely never satisfied. I’ve got to continue to execute. The big thing for me is going out there, relaxing, and just executing.”
Q: You’ve had a chance to look at Yulman Stadium. What do you think about it?
A: “Oh my gosh, it’s amazing. I went over there just right after our game and sat up on the top deck, and it’s like you’re right on top of them (on the field). I got to walk the field. It’s pretty tight down there. I think they had some guys watch in the stands so no one runs into them. It’s beautiful. I can’t wait to go there and see a game.”
Q: How much could this mean for that program to have that on campus, at home?
A: “It’s huge. Right now they’ve got it set up where the students can walk right through the campus, go through the Reilly Center into the stadium. I’m hoping for a big student body population to show up and (be) rooting them on.”
