Drew Brees passed for 342 yards and three touchdowns as the New Orleans Saints won their fourth straight, 31-17 over the Detroit Lions Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Brees completed 26 of 36 passes and hit big plays like a 67-yard touchdown pass to Robert Meacham that gave New Orleans (9-3) a 17-0 second-quarter lead. Brees also threw touchdown passes to Lance Moore and Darren Sproles.

The Saints needed Brees' big numbers to offset a solid performance by Detroit's Matthew Stafford, who passed for 409 yards, completing 31 of 44 passes for the Lions (7-5). But he was intercepted once and was held to one touchdown.
