The Saints made a handful of minor roster moves after minicamp concluded.

The team signed wide receiver Josh Smith and offensive lineman Trevor Darling after the two players tried out this week, according to a source. To make room, New Orleans waived fullback Ryan Yurachek and offensive lineman Cory Helms.

During his college career at Tennessee, Smith caught 63 passes for this 764 yards with five touchdowns. His best season came in 2015 when he caught 23 passes for 307 yards.

Darling, meanwhile, started 40 games during his four-year career with the Miami Hurricanes. He played guard last season, and New Orleans is intrigued by his versatility to also play tackle.

Both Helms and Yurachek hooked on with New Orleans this summer as undrafted free agents. Yurachek won his spot with the team after trying out at rookie minicamp.
