Left tackle Terron Armstead and safety Kenny Vaccaro, who left Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and did not return due to injuries, officially did not practice on Wednesday.

Vaccaro is dealing with a groin injury. Armstead, who suffered a chest injury, has missed practice on Wednesday the past two weeks, but he's not sure yet if he'll be able to play.

"We're still trying to see how the week will play out," Armstead said. "I am (optimistic)."

While Armstead's status remains in doubt, the offensive line could be getting back another starter. Right guard Larry Warford, who has missed the last two games with an abdominal strain suffered against Green Bay, practiced on a limited basis, the first time he's practiced in two weeks.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) and defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle) were also both limited in practice.
