PHILADELPHIA — After ruling out running back Pierre Thomas with a chest injury on Friday, linebacker/defensive end Keyunta Dawson is the only other New Orleans player who will miss Saturday night’s wildcard game at Philadelphia because he’s hurt, the Saints said.

Dawson missed practice Friday with a calf injury. The Saints’ remaining inactives are healthy: backup QB Ryan Griffin, CB Terrence Frederick, S Isa Abdul-Quddus, DE Tyrunn Walker and WR Nick Toon.

Worth noting is that backup linebacker Kyle Knox, promoted from the practice squad on Wednesday, will be active for his first game with the Saints (11-5). He will presumably help his team out on special teams.

For Philadelphia (10-6), backup QB Matt Barkley, WR Damaris Johnson (who prepped at Destrehan), S Keelan Johnson, RB Matthew Tucker, C Julian Vandervelde and T Dennis Kelly. Vandervelde was scratched Friday with a back injury.

Unsurprisingly, RB Mark Ingram will start in Thomas’ place for the Saints.

Thomas hurt his chest in the Saints’ 42-17 win over Tampa Bay in their regular-season finale. He played all 16 of the Saints’ regular-season games, rushing for a team-leading 549 yards and two touchdowns on 147 carries. He also had 513 yards and three touchdowns on 77 catches, the most among NFL running backs.

Ingram picked up 386 yards and a touchdown on 78 carries in the regular season.
