Advocate file photo by SCOTT THRELKELD -- New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram (22) sweeps wide against the Atlanta Falcons during the their game Dec. 21, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

If there’s any player Saints fans may want to keep reading about after watching their team be eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday, it’d be fourth-year running back Mark Ingram.

Ingram this season has registered career highs in rushing attempts (212), yards (907) and touchdowns (eight). He’s rushed for more than 100 yards in four separate games this year after previously having only done that in one contest since joining the Saints as a first-round draft choice out of Alabama in 2011.
