Benjamin Watson returned to practice Thursday in a limited capacity after suffering a groin injury in Sunday’s 20-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Asked about Watson’s injury after practice wrapped, coach Sean Payton confirmed the tight end was active during the session but would not elaborate further.

The Saints play the Cowboys in Dallas Sunday night.

The rest of the injury report remained unchanged from Wednesday. Center Jonathan Goodwin (ankle), running back Mark Ingram (hand), linebacker David Hawthorne (ankle/knee), safety Marcus Ball (hamstring), and fullback Erik Lorig (ankle) did not participate.

Linebacker Curtis Lofton (shoulder) was also limited.
