Veteran Saints wide receiver Marques Colston suffered a separated shoulder against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport.

Colston, who was injured in the second half, was favoring his arm and left the game, although Fox initially reported he was questionable to return.

Despite issues with drops this season, Colston ranked fourth on the team with 18 receptions for 200 yards this season.

If Colston has to miss significant time, New Orleans will have to sign another receiver; the Saints headed into Philadelphia with just four receivers on the active roster.

The Saints cut Joe Morgan last week, and New Orleans has three more receivers — Seantavius Jones, R.J. Harris and Reggie Bell — on the practice squad.
