The New Orleans Saints have brought back fullback Austin Johnson.
Johnson was present at the portion of Thursday’s practice open to the media. What’s unclear is whether or not Johnson is back on the practice squad or active roster; practice squad tackle Bryan Witzmann was not at practice.
Five Saints were not present at the portion of practice open to the media. Backup quarterback Luke McCown, linebacker Hau’oliKikaha, linebacker Ramon Humber, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and cornerback Damian Swann were not present at the practice.
Left tackle Terron Armstead, wide receiver Willie Snead, right guard Jahri Evans, wide receiver Marques Colston and defensive tackle Kevin Williams all returned to practice.
For the second straight day, cornerback Keenan Lewis, linebackerDavid Hawthorne and tackle Andrus Peat all participated in practice for the second straight day.
