Aside from nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley being placed on year-ending injured reserve with a hurt quad, the Saints on Thursday didn’t alter the participation report they filed Wednesday.
Running back Khiry Robinson (forearm) and linebacker Kyle Knox (hand) didn’t partake in team drills. Limited were guard Ben Grubbs (neck), linebacker Curtis Lofton (ankle), cornerback Keenan Lewis (knee) and center Jonathan Goodwin (toe).
Full participants despite being listed on the injury report were running back Mark Ingram (shoulder), running back Pierre Thomas (rib/shoulder), wide receiver Robert Meachem (ankle) and running back Travaris Cadet (hamstring).
Robinson has missed the past five games with his injury, and Knox has only been active in three contests for the Saints (4-7).
Meachem has missed the past three games with his injury. His absence has resulted in more snaps for WRs Joseph Morgan and Nick Toon.
The Saints visit Pittsburgh (7-4) on Sunday. For the Steelers on Thursday, safety Troy Polamalu (not injury-related) and tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) did not participate.
Defensive tackle Steve McClendon (shoulder), cornerback Cortez Allen (thumb) and linebacker Ryan Shazier (ankle) were limited. Cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm), safety Shamarko Thomas (hamstring) and wide receiver Martavis Bryant (illness) were full.
