SCOUTING REPORT

The Saints’ host next Monday night has lost five of its previous seven games, including its past two. The NFL Network on Sunday reported the Bears (5-8) have a “serious case of buyer’s remorse” with quarterback Jay Cutler (330-of-494 passing for 3,446 yards passing, 26 touchdowns and 15 interceptions), who’s in the first year of a seven-season, $126.7 million contract extension he signed in January. Nonetheless, New Orleans won’t be overconfident despite the rumors of turmoil in Chicago — the Saints have lost the three games they’ve played at Soldier Field under coach Sean Payton in December and January (their victory there in 2013 was on a mild October day).
