The Saints are once again doing their homework on this year’s quarterback class.

New Orleans was in attendance forPaxton Lynch’s pro day and then took the Memphis quarterback out of the lunch, according to the NFL Network.

The team also will host Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook and Indiana’s Nate Sudfeld later this month.

The Saints also met with Lynch during February’s scouting combine.

The Saints drafted Garrett Grayson in the third round of last year’s draft and recently re-signed veteran backup Luke McCown. Drew Brees is entering the final year of his contract.

Both sides have said that they’d like to get an extension done that will keep Brees in New Orleans beyond the 2016 season.

Whether or not the attention the Saints are paying to these quarterbacks amounts to anything remains to be seen, but it’s worth keeping an eye on their activity.
