LAST WEEK: Cleveland lost at Pittsburgh 30-27 after a last-minute field goal. The Browns fought back from a 27-3 deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter. The Saints lost at Atlanta 37-24 on an overtime field goal. They surrendered the second-most yards of offense in franchise history (568) and squandered a 20-7 lead they’d built late in the first half.

SAINTS: QB Drew Brees, TE Jimmy Graham, RB Pierre Thomas, WR Pierre Thomas, LB Junior Galette, S Jairus Byrd, CB Keenan Lewis.
1 Offense: Brian Hoyer enters his Week 2 contest against the Saints not having thrown an interception in 99 passing attempts (a four-game span). Complementing him is a ground attack that got 100 rushing yards out of rookie Terrance West and two rushing touchdowns from Isaiah Crowell in Week 1.
2 Defense: Cleveland will be looking to bounce back after being skewered for 490 yards of offense by Pittsburgh. Had it not been for the dismal 568 yards the Saints gave up at Atlanta, Cleveland would’ve given up the most yards in the first week of the 2014 regular season.
3 Special teams: Cleveland’s special-teams coverage units struggled at Pittsburgh. They drew three penalties on returns and gave up a new set of downs on a fake punt, among other miscues. They’ll be trying to clean that up and hope kicker Billy Cundiff stays sure-footed after going 2-for-2 from 39 and 25 yards out in Week 1.
Writers are as sick of writing about this topic as readers are of hearing it, but the Saints won’t be given the benefit of the doubt on their road troubles after losing in Atlanta. They’ve now lost six of their last seven regular-season games away from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome dating to last year and will hope to reverse that trend against a franchise that hasn’t won more than five contests in a campaign since 2007. ... There’ll be plenty of angst in Cleveland about star tight end Jordan Cameron, who aggravated a shoulder injury in Week 1. The Browns on Tuesday signed tight end Gerell Robinson off Denver’s practice squad, which seems to signal some uncertainty about Cameron. ... Meanwhile, LSU fans who also root for the Saints will have a chance to see Barkevious Mingo — a star pass rusher for the Tigers who was a first-round pick for Cleveland in 2013 — clash with New Orleans’ NFL franchise for the first time in his career.
The Saints on Tuesday waived tackle Ty Nsekhe from their injured reserve list. Nsekhe attended training camp with the Saints and went on New Orleans’ IR after missing some time with an undisclosed injury, being waived Aug. 25 and going unclaimed. ... Former Louisiana-Monroe tight end Je’Ron Hamm signed with Washington’s practice squad Tuesday. He spent some of training camp with the Saints before being waived and going unclaimed. He missed some time with a stinger prior to being cut.
