The Ryan brothers are reuniting.

After being fired by the New Orleans Saints in November as defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan is reportedly joining his brother Rex Ryan’s staff in Buffalo as a defensive assistant, according to Fox Sports.

Rob Ryan joined the Saints in 2013 and turned a previously hapless unit into one of the better defenses in the NFL, but the team regressed and finished as one of the worst units in 2014 and 2015.

Rob Ryan was replaced by Dennis Allen, who helped the defense put up better numbers down the stretch. A decision has not been made on Allen’s future in New Orleans, though coach Sean Payton said he’s likely to return.

Rex Ryan led Buffalo to an 8-8 record. Rob Ryan was spotted at a handful of Bills’ practices after being let go by New Orleans.

It is not yet known in what capacity Rob Ryan will serve in Buffalo.
