The Saints are going to be without two cornerbacks this week as both Keenan Lewis and Damian Swann have been ruled out of action.
Lewis has been battling a hip injury and stomach ailment. Swann, meanwhile, is trying to come back from a concussion.
Both players practiced on Thursday but did not practice on Friday.
Swann’s case is somewhat curious since he indicated that he had cleared the concussion protocol earlier this week. He was a full participant on Wednesday and then limited Thursday.
Lewis played eight snaps against the Falcons last week. He traveled to see a hip specialist last week, indicating that his recovery has not gone as smooth as hoped.
Offensive tackle Andrus Peat was also ruled out, as expected, with a knee injury.
New Orleans listed offensive tackle Terron Armstead, guard Tim Lelito, wide receiver Marques Colston, punter Thomas Morstead, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe, linebacker Michael Mauti, safety Jairus Byrd and linebacker Ramon Humber as probable.
