Drew Brees wore a white compression sleeve on his right elbow during Sunday's win over the Buccaneers, but the 38-year-old quarterback said it had nothing to do with an injury.

Brees, who has not been listed on the injury report this season, also wore the sleeve during practice in the days leading up to the game.

"Just compression," Brees said. "I do it on my legs at times, that kind of thing. It's a comfort thing."

Brees, who completed 22-of-27 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns, also broke an NFL record on Sunday.

The legendary quarterback has now thrown 225 touchdown passes in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, more in a single stadium than any other quarterback in NFL history.
