WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va.-- The Saints are still without their leader.

Despite making some progress in his recovery from a left oblique strain, quarterback Drew Brees is once again sidelined for Monday's practice.

Cornerbacks Champ Bailey and Patrick Robinson, and placekicker Shayne Graham, who each have injuries, rode stationary bikes during the practice.

Brees has missed seven practices and sat out Friday's preseason game against the St. Louis Rams.

On Sunday, Brees threw a series of short passes to wide receiver Kenny Stills on a side field.

It is not known if Brees will play in Friday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Coach Sean Payton has maintained that he will not rush Brees back.
