Getting C.J. Spiller back on the field will be huge for Saints’ offense _lowres

C.J. Spiller will likely make his return to action today against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

About a month removed from a surgical procedure to “clean up” his knee, Spiller is expected to make his debut today, according to the NFL Network.

Spiller was limited in practices throughout the week but appeared to be moving well during the portions of each session open to the media.

If Spiller plays, he should have ample opportunity to catch passes out of the backfield and should help the team in the red zone, where it reached the end zone on one of four trips last week against Arizona.
