The Saints had nine players miss practice on Wednesday.

Among those out of action due to injury were tackle Terron Armstead (knee), cornerbacks Damian Swann (concussion) and Brian Dixon (hip), and linebackers Dannell Ellerbe (hip), David Hawthorne (hamstring) and Ramon Humber (hamstring).

Wide receiver Marques Colston, defensive tackle Kevin Williams and guard Jahri Evans were held out for non-injury reasons.

Linebacker Hau’oli Kikaha (ankle), guard Tim Lelito (shoulder) and wide receiver Willie Snead (knee) were limited.

Swann, Ellerbe, Kikaha and Humber missed Sunday’s loss to the Titans.

Cornerback Keenan Lewis, who has been battling a hip injury, was not listed on the practice report.
