The New Orleans Saints signed linebacker Nate Stupar to a three-year deal on Wednesday, the team announced.

Stupar, a four-year veteran who spent the last two seasons in Atlanta, is coming off of the most defensive playing time of his career.

Initially taken in the seventh round of the 2012 draft by the Oakland Raiders, Stupar spent a season on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, then broke into the league with San Francisco, played a season in Jacksonville and spent the past two seasons with Atlanta.
