CHICAGO — Saints cornerback Corey White is a healthy inactive for his team’s game Monday night against the Bears at Soldier Field, and pass-rusher Junior Galette is available to play despite being questionable with a knee injury.

Left tackle Terron Armstead is also active despite being questionable for the contest against Chicago (5-8) with a hurt neck.

Armstead has been the Saints’ starting left tackle since late last season, and Galette leads New Orleans in quarterback sacks with seven.

In addition to White, inactives for the Saints (5-8) are newly-promoted wide receiver Seantavius Jones, rookie cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste, reserve linebacker Moise Fokou, rookie nose tackle Lawrence Virgil, reserve tackle Nick Becton and rookie linebacker Ronald Powell. All are healthy.

Veteran Saints receiver Robert Meachem will return to the line-up after being sidelined for the past five games, some of which were due to an ankle issue. Saints cornerback Terrance Frederick will also be active for the first time since being brought up from the practice squad on Nov. 18, and he will start opposite Keenan Lewis, the entrenched No. 1 at the position.

For the Bears, the inactives are safety Chris Conte, kicker Robbie Gould, offensive lineman Michael Ola, defensive tackle Brandon Dunn, backup quarterback David Fales, cornerback Terrance Mitchell and defensive end Trevor Scott.

Conte (back), Gould (quad) and Ola (back) were injured scratches.

The Saints must win Monday night to retain control of their playoff destiny. Rain has been falling persistently at Soldier Field.
