New Orleans Saints nose tackle Brodrick Bunkley (calf) and defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee) missed practice on Wednesday after suffering injuries in the 23-17 win to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Defensive end Glenn Foster, who hurt his ankle in the preseason finale and missed Sunday’s game, was limited in the session.
Safety Isa Abdul-Quddus, who also hurt his ankle in the last exhibition and was inactive against Atlanta, sat out practice but was on a stationary bicycle.
Cornerback Patrick Robinson participated in practice on a limited basis despite leaving the Falcons game early with an undisclosed injury.
Other Saints with limited participation were: linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee) and cornerback Jabari Greer (back).
Players listed on New Orleans’ injury report who had full participation were linebacker Martez Wilson (elbow), wide receiver Marques Colston (foot), linebacker Junior Galette (hamstring), tackle Zach Strief (neck) and guard Jahri Evans (back).
Meanwhile, for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Saints’ next opponent, cornerback Micahel Adams (knee) and tight end Tom Crabtree (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Cornerback Rashaan Melvin (hamstring) and guard Carl Nicks were limited (staph infection in foot).
Running back Erik Lorig (calf) was listed on the injury report, but he practiced fully.
The Saints face Tampa Bay on the road at 3:05 p.m. Sunday.
