The Saints’ rookie minicamp will consist of five practices between Friday and Sunday, the team announced Tuesday.
Media will have the opportunity to meet with coach Sean Payton, his assistants and camp participants on Saturday afternoon and view a brief portion of a practice in the morning that day.
The Saints drafted six players from last Thursday to Saturday: Oregon State wide receiver Brandin Cooks (first round), Nebraska cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste (second round), California linebacker Khairi Fortt (fifth round), Alabama safety Vinnie Sunseri (fifth round), Florida linebacker Ronald Powell (fifth round), and Kansas State tackle Tavon Rooks (sixth round).
They subsequently signed 17 undrafted rookies to the expanded preseason roster, and all of those players will be joined by numerous others attending the minicamp on a tryout basis.
The minicamp will not be open to the general public.
