New Orleans Saints rookies will soon be starting work.

The team will hold a rookie minicamp in two weeks, which runs from May 15-17.

Meanwhile, the veteran players are busy taking part in the Saints’ offseason program, which is currently in its first phase.

During this portion of the schedule, players are only allowed to work out at team facilities. In a few days, players can begin taking part in on-field workouts, though team drills are prohibited.

The final phase is organized team activities, which will be May 26-28, June 2-4 and June 8-11.

Mandatory minicamp runs from June 16-18.

After about a month off, the Saints will head to The Greenbrier resort in West Virginia in mid-July.

The first preseason game will be Aug. 13 in Baltimore against the Ravens. The regular season begins with a road game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 13.
