CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Because of wet weather that moved into the area immediately after Friday’s game between Tulane and Charlotte, the teams’ series finale was canceled Saturday.

Charlotte, the last-place team in Conference USA, won the first two games, dropping the Green Wave 2-0 on Thursday and 2-1 on Friday.

Tulane, which has lost 11 of its last 13 games, will face LSU at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Alex Box Stadium.

The Green Wave (15-22, 6-13) defeated LSU 3-2 in 11 innings on March 25 — undoubtedly the high point of Tulane’s otherwise ugly season.
