ORLANDO, Fla. — Tulane weathered a rain delay and a three-run sixth inning by the Knights as it posted an American Athletic Conference win at Jay Bergman Field.

Matt Braud’s two-out homer in the top of the seventh was the difference. The solo homer put Tulane (24-13, 4-5) ahead for good after UCF tied the game 3-3 in the sixth.

UCF (20-20, 5-5) managed only two base runners in the final three innings.

Tulane’s Emerson Gibbs went seven innings to get the win. Patrick Duester threw the final two innings to get the save.
