SACRAMENTO — Brandon Hicks’ single with two outs in the bottom of the 14th inning lifted the River Cats over the Zephyrs.

Mac Williamson singled, advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt and third on a ground-out to set up Hicks’ single down the left field line to give the Cats their 11th consecutive win.

Brett Bochy worked one inning of relief and earned the win. Jorge DeLeon took the loss in his Zephyrs debut.

The Zephyrs grabbed the lead in the top of the ninth inning when Vinny Rottino doubled and scored on a Juan Diaz RBI single. The River Cats scored to tie and send it to extra innings.

The Z’s dropped their 12th consecutive and 20 of their past 22 games. Sacramento is 63-63. The Zephyrs dropped to 51-75.
