Oklahoma City — The Oklahoma City Dodgers sent 12 batters to the plate in the second inning and scored eight runs on nine hits and steamrolled the New Orleans Zephyrs 9-2 at Bricktown Ballpark on Thursday.
Former Tulane standout Rob Segedin fell a double shy of hitting for the cycle and drove home three runs for the Dodgers.
Robert Andino hit a solo home run and Issac Galloway had two hits for the Zephyrs.
Zach Lee pitched six innings and earned the win, Dylan Axelrod took the loss.
The Zephyrs fall to 13-13 and head to Round Rock to open a four-game series against the first-place Express. New Orleans will face Texas Rangers rehab pitcher Yu Darvish on Friday against Chris Narveson.
