EL PASO, Texas — The New Orleans Zephyrs scored seven runs and pounded out a season-high 15 hits but dropped their season-high seven game in a row in an 11-7 loss on Tuesday.

The Zephyrs (15-23) have lost 11 of their past 13 games and were swept for the first time this season.

El Paso hammered three home runs and had 16 hits in its fourth consecutive win. Alex Dickerson had three hits, including a two-run home run.

Daniel McCutcheon allowed six runs on nine hits and earned his fifth win of the season.

Kenny Wilson hit his first home run of the season for the Zephyrs, a two-run shot in the second inning.

Robert Andino and Matt Yuengel each had three hits.

Chris Reed took the loss.

The Z’s continue the trip on Thursday in Albuquerque and return home Monday for an eight-game homestand.
