The New Orleans Zephyrs return from the road for a five-game series against the first-place Round

Rock Express, beginning Wednesday night.

The Zephyrs will conclude the homestand with a four-game series against the Oklahoma City Dodgers from Aug. 11-14.

New Orleans has been streaky since the All-Star break, losing seven straight, then winning seven straight, before losing six in a row coming into play Tuesday’s game at Oklahoma City.

With two hits Monday night in Oklahoma City, Vinny Rottino became the 14th player in Zephyrs history to record 100 hits in two different seasons.

With the Zephyrs comfortably ahead 6-1, Kendry Flores carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning.

Three innings later, the Zephyrs had been saddled with their sixth consecutive defeat.

The Oklahoma City Dodgers rallied for five runs in the seventh inning, and Ralph Henriquez hit a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth as the Dodgers came from behind to beat the Zephyrs, 7-6.

Nappo (2-3) was charged with the blown save and the loss after yielding two runs and four hits in 1.1 innings.

The homestand begins with Web Wednesday, offering a ticket and food special available exclusively through Z’s
