Round Rock , Texas — The New Orleans Zephyrs scored a pair of seventh-inning runs to rally past the Round Rock Express to even the series.

Kendry Flores worked six innings allowed two runs on five hits and earned his first win of the season for the Zephyrs. Dustin McGowan pitched the final three innings for the save.

Round Rock led off the bottom of the first with a James Jones single and he scored on a double from Jurickson Profar. The Z’s tied the game in the second with a two-out single from Matt Juengel.

Round Rock grabbed a 2-1 lead in the third inning.

Issac Galloway picked up two hits in the game, including a lead off single in the seventh. Galloway scored on an Adrien Nieto fielders choice to tie the game. Kenny Wilson snapped an 18 at-bat hitless streak with a two-out single to give the Zephyrs the lead.

McGowan silenced the Express and the Zephyrs snap their three game losing skid.

The Zephyrs (14-13) are one games back of the first-place Express (15-12). The series continues Sunday.
